Young sports officials: recruitment, training and retention

Erasmus+ Sport

The challenge

Sport depends on officials and struggles to recruit and keep young ones. Schools, universities and clubs rarely coordinate on the subject.

The digital component

A framework linking university sport departments with national and local sport organisations, and a training and mentorship programme piloted with secondary and university students.

Project scope

The four hour course for sports officials is published and open to enrolment. Sport Innovation Hub and Universitas are partners in the consortium. Any platform for mentoring or automated follow-up is not verified and is not presented here as built.

    Club management application, web and mobile

    Published

    A club management application, published on Google Play by Sport Innovation Hub, with an official product website at saito.club. Its available functions cover athlete, group and coach profiles, a calendar with events, notifications and chat, a medical appointment role, a mobile application and an administration panel.

    Our role

    Sport Innovation Hub designs, builds and operates the platform and its technical direction.
