EUAPPTIVE

European Active Ageing Challenge

ERASMUS-SPORT-2023-SCP · 101134159 · 2023-2025

The challenge

Physical activity among older adults drops sharply with age, and most digital activity products are designed for younger users.

The digital component

A digital programme built around a European challenge to promote physical activity among older adults, with an application designed for that audience.

Sport Innovation Hub's role

Partner in the consortium.

Show technical detail
  • Accessibility as a design constraint: large type, simple flows, minimal onboarding
  • Adherence tracking and gentle re-engagement when activity drops
  • Challenge mechanics across participants and countries
  • Data minimisation appropriate to a non-clinical wellbeing product
  • Multilingual delivery across the consortium

How this applies to your organisation

If you collect physiological or health data from athletes, this is the kind of work we can take on: a protocol agreed with sport scientists, consent flows, a defined legal basis and feedback the athlete and the staff can use.
